Questions people ask

Is this really free?

Yes. The score and verdict are shown to everyone with no account. You give an email address only to unlock the full written report, and you can unsubscribe from any email it sends in one click.

Do I need to upload a file?

No — paste your resume as text. Nothing is uploaded, and neither your resume text nor the job description is stored once your score has been calculated. Only the resulting report is kept, so it can be emailed to you.

How is the score calculated?

A language model reads your resume against that specific posting and judges how well the experience you actually have lines up with what's being asked for. It's not a keyword-density count, and it will never credit you with experience you don't have.

What counts as a good score?

Above 75 usually means your resume already argues for you and what's left is tailoring. Between 45 and 75 means the relevant experience is there but buried or unquantified. Below 45 usually means the posting wants something your resume doesn't show at all yet — which is worth knowing before you spend an evening on the application.
